4) What Personal Data Do We Collect & how is it Collected, & What is the purpose of having this information.

The personal data that is collected from you? The data is collected on a written Booking form which asks for the following personal details, the purpose of having the details is to be able to contact the client from the personal details to let them know when goods ( hats /fascinators) are ready for collection, in the case of a postal order then an address is needed for the goods to be delivered.

This information is given directly or orally over the phone or electronically via an email.

5) Marketing

At present none of your personal information is used for this purpose & none of your personal details are passed on to any third parties. In the future email addresses may be used to let you know of any offers or competitions which as a business run. In the case of pictures of a client being used on our social media sites, the picture & the personal data (names) is only used if consented by the client. The client has the right to withdraw this consent at any time.

6) How long with the Personal Data be kept for?

We not keep your personal data for any longer than is necessary in light of the reasons that it was first collected. So it is kept in order for us to carry out our service & goods to you. Also in accordance for our book keeping records in line with HM Revenue & Customs for at least 5years.

7) How & Where Do You Store My Personal Data?

Your Personal data is only stored in the UK. This means that it will be fully protected under the GDPR.

8) Is My Personal Data Shared?

We do not share your personal detail with any 3rd parties, for marketing purposes. In the case of legal or Tax issues if information is required by authorities such as HMRC or in the case of legal proceedings,  the relevant information would be give to fulfill our legal obligations.

You have the right to request ‘ a data subject access request’ this enables you to recieve a copy of the personal data we hold about you & check that we are lawfully processing it.

10)Request Correction & Erasure

You have the right to correct & update the information that we hold about you. You also have the right to have your personal details erased or removed, depending on the circumstances we may not be able to comply with this if there are specific legal reasons, which are currently taken place, which you will be notified about at the time of your request.
